The Rangeland Analysis Platform (RAP) is a free, online tool that helps landowners and natural resource managers track vegetation through time and plan actions to improve America's grazing lands. The RAP can be used to provide strategies to improve productivity of grazing lands, manage weeds, mitigate impacts of wildfire and drought, and benefit wildlife habitats. Powered by Google Earth Engine, RAP merges machine learning and cloud-based computing with remote sensing and field data to provide the first-ever annual cover maps of rangeland vegetation. This new platform allows people to view trends in rangeland resources at an unprecedented blend of space (from the Great Plains to the Pacific Ocean), time (1984 to present), and scale (at the ranch, watershed, or county level). Designed to be combined with local knowledge, the RAP helps users better understand vegetation change through time to aid in conservation planning and outcome evaluation. This webinar will describe the innovative breakthrough in mapping vegetation cover and demonstrate RAP applications.

Resilient grass and shrub lands support rural economies, store carbon, and provide habitat for a diverse set of wildlife. Tracking and measuring conservation-derived improvements to these ecosystem services is a critical component of restoring and perpetuating healthy rangelands, which encompass more than a third of the U.S.
For decades, accurately and efficiently measuring conservation outcomes across millions of acres of rangelands has been costly, time consuming, and difficult. This is especially true when measuring the response of vegetation to on-the-ground conservation actions. Additionally, traditional plot-level sampling often failed to capture fine-scale variations in vegetation change in response to management practices that are common across pasture, ranch, and watershed scales.
Roberts and his team found that next-generation technologies can measure nuanced conservation outcomes accurately and at multiple spatial scales. This capacity unlocks analyses and rapid-response adaptive management opportunities that were impossible with historic field-based monitoring. Additionally, using remote sensing technology to assess conservation outcomes can improve communication of the importance, and effectiveness, of rangeland conservation to diverse stakeholders. This research empowers scientists to employ remote sensing by providing multiple examples of new and exciting ways to quantify outcomes of conservation actions that are so desperately needed for rangelands today.

In Fiscal Year 2015, the BLM was allocated $79 million for its rangeland management program. Of that figure, the agency spent $36.2 million, or 46 percent, on livestock grazing administration. The other funds covered such activities as weed management, rangeland monitoring, planning, water development, vegetation restoration, and habitat improvement. In 2015, the BLM collected $14.5 million in grazing fees. The receipts from these annual fees, in accordance with legislative requirements, are shared with state and local governments.

Cord-cutting is becoming a huge thing these days. People around the world are tired of paying the massive bills associated with cable TV and the subscriptions of Netflix and other streaming platforms. The good news is that sites like Fmovies are making cord-cutting possible. They offer free movies and TV shows for all people around the world. But as you can imagine, things have not been smooth. Fmovies and others like it have been targeted by relevant authorities for piracy and copyright infringement. But nonetheless, they still offer a great streaming option.
As noted above, Fmovies is a file-sharing website that allows people to watch a wide range of movies and TV shows for free. The site has several categories and a wide variety of content. Although it has been frustrated by copyright authorities in many countries around the world, there are still so many Fmovies clone sites that are offering access to this content. The origin of Fmovies is also unknown and no one knows where the sites are hosted. This makes it a very hard target for law enforcement.
